Bio

My grandfather studied at the Milan Conservatory, my father was a weekend-warrior sax player.  My non-musician friends knew I was doomed to make music - I think it's been a great ride!

I started playing clarinet at age 9, added saxophone in junior high (now called "middle school" you whippersnappers) and started gigging with my father at 13.  In junior high I started writing arrangements for the school jazz band, which led to arrangements for the local musicians union during high school and college, and eventually led to my career as a composer and sound designer in the video game industry.

Squeeze in a degree from the New England Conservatory of Music, graduate studies at both Catholic University and Rensselaer Polytechnic, a variety of live performance and studio sessions - it's been an exciting adventure!  I hope you enjoy the site as much as I've enjoyed the experiences which made it possible.
